Spool is a new service that lets you save videos, images, articles with multiple pages, etc. It then syncs your content to all of your devices [phone, laptop, desktop, tablet] for consumption later.

Currently, it supports the following services: Flickr, Twitter, Delicious, Zoho, Google Docs, Photobucket, WordPress, Basecamp, Facebook, FriendFeed, Blogger, and Hotmail.

Soon, these will also be supported: YouTube, Xmarks, RssFeed, and Tumblr.

PingTest.net (beta) lets you determine the quality of your broadband Internet connection, instead of just download and upload speeds.

“We give each test result a grade to help you interpret the overall quality. We also show the specific packet loss, ping and jitter values that make up your grade. When we are unable to measure one or more of them you will see a grade of N/A.” [pingtest.net]

Tests Made:

• Packet Loss – percentage of data packets that failed to arrive.
• Ping – how long it takes for a data packet to travel from client to server, and back.
• Jitter – variance in successive ping measurements.

This is a nice web service for checking the caliber of our broadband connections. If you need to measure actual download/upload speeds, you can use SpeedTest.net.

Inbox2.com (beta) lets you stream all your email and Twitter DMs into Facebook. Services currently supported are Gmail, Twitter, Yahoo! Mail, AOL Mail, LinkedIn, Yammer, Windows Live Mail, and Hyves.

Z.pe is a URL shortener service that creates shortcuts to regular URLs. We do have quite a lot of these kind of services, but z.pe is one of the shortest ones.

"Tiny URLs are basically shortcut for long URLs, each tiny URL is mapped to a long URL, when a person visit the tiny URL, s/he will be redirected to the original long URL. Tiny URLs are provided by a third party, such as z.pe, and are usually very short (less than 20 characters including the protocol part). Mag.Ma is a portal of popular online videos from various sources, such as Hulu, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and YouTube. It also looks at the top videos at Twitter, IceRocket, StumbleUpon, Digg, Delicious, Reddit, and others.

When you sign up for the service, you will get your own public channel page, which facilitates sharing of your favorite videos with friends.

Untiny.me is a webapp that extracts the original URL from the shortened one, revealing just where it is you are headed to.

“The main reason of Untiny is that some of the tiny services are blocked in some countries although the original long URL is not blocked. Untiny retrieves the original URL so you can access it – if it is not blocked too.” [Untiny]

Also, this webapp can help you determine if the shortened link is actually the site you really wanted to go to, and not some shady deal or offensive graphic.

Wee-Web.com makes it easy and fun to share your kids’ lives with family and close friends.

ZumoDrive.com provides cloud technology for online backup, sharing, and web access for Windows XP, Vista, OS X Tiger and Leopard.

Spymaster [playspymaster.com] is a free-to-join social game that is based on Twitter.
