First Looks: Semagic – Weblog Client November 13, 2005

Posted by Ced in Reviews, Software.

Semagic (Windows, Open Source, 755KB) is a weblog client that supports LiveJournal, WordPress, Blogger, Typepad, and Movable Type.

These are the features I liked:

Multiple accounts support. Although it looks like it was initially made exclusively for LiveJournal, it also supports other accounts.

Spell check function. It can have a built-in spell checker, available as a separate download (253KB). It can also use MS Word dictionary, but using the internal spell checker is recommended.

Technorati notification. It has an option to notify Technorati of weblog updates.
