Do you frequently receive forwarded story/photo/chain emails from your friends? Maybe you would like them to stop sending you these, but do not know *how* to tell them nicely?

You can send them to the “Thanks. No.” website, a free service from 43 Folders. The site politely informs your CC-happy friend(s) about how they could reconsider sending you unrequested messages.

You could use the template below:

Hi there, beloved friend of this email recipient:

Please visit http://thanksno.com/

Because this person likes getting personal messages from you, but doesn’t want any more email like this, please.

Love,
ThanksNo.com

I will definitely use this, the next time I get one of those forwarded emails. Thanks to Joel Suplido for the info!
