Yahoo! Kickstart – Kickstart Your Career November 14, 2007

Yahoo! Kickstart is a new social network aimed at college students and alumni.

“Get ready to Kickstart your career. … Connect with peers and alumni, Share your professional profile, Find people at companies you like.” [Yahoo! Kickstart]

The site gives 10 reasons to use Kickstart, and my favorite is number 8, which is: “The more people you know, the less chance of fetching coffee all day.”

Looking at Kickstart, Facebook and LinkedIn comes into mind, although I believe that the real target audience for Kickstart would probably be recent college grads. (And of course, the alumni that are in a position to help them.)
