DNS-O-Matic – Distribute Dynamic IP Changes to Multiple Services December 12, 2007

Posted by Ced in Online, Services.

DNS-O-Matic (dnsomatic.com) is a free service that provides you a free and easy way to announce your dynamic IP changes to multiple services with a single update. Using DNS-O-Matic allows you to pick and choose what Dynamic DNS services you want to notify, all from one easy to use interface.

“Why DNS-O-Matic? Many applications on the Internet rely on knowing your IP address. Providing a scalable platform to allow people to selectively announce when their IP address changes will benefit all sorts of services and applications. And, this isn’t just about DNS – everything from your Apple TV to your Xbox 360 can benefit from knowing when your IP changes.” [dnsomatic.com]

Currently, it supports OpenDNS, No-IP.com, and DynDNS.
