Z.pe is a URL shortener service that creates shortcuts to regular URLs. We do have quite a lot of these kind of services, but z.pe is one of the shortest ones.

"Tiny URLs are basically shortcut for long URLs, each tiny URL is mapped to a long URL, when a person visit the tiny URL, s/he will be redirected to the original long URL. Tiny URLs are provided by a third party, such as z.pe, and are usually very short (less than 20 characters including the protocol part). The name Tiny URL can also be credited to TinyURL.com, which was the first popular URL shortening service” [z.pe]

  • one of the shortest URL shortening services (u.nu is another)
  • easy to use
  • shortened URL never expires
  • uses 301 redirect
  • based on Google AppEngine, for reliability

Get nice and short URLs in a zip! (or z.pe, rather)

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear
and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic
but I had to tell someone!
