Plurk.com – Your Life, On the Line June 12, 2008

Plurk.com is a service similar to Twitter and/or Jaiku, but with a twist: it incorporates a visual timeline of “plurks”.

“What is Plurk? A really snazzy site that allows you to showcase the events that make up your life, and follow the events of the people that matter to you, in deliciously digestible short messages called plurks.” [Plurk]

A mobile version of the site can be found at plurk.com/m. You can use this URI on your mobile device for plurking and reading plurks.

I find Plurk more similar in concept with Jaiku, especially with the replying (commenting) on Plurks (Jaikus).

The service still does not have a standalone client (yet), but it looks like a lot of Twitter and Jaiku users are already trying out Plurk.
