Ping.fm is an online service that lets you easily update virtually all your social networks in just one step.
“Ping.fm was created for the sole purpose of making it as easy as possible to share your posts with the world. Now you don’t have to fumble around the web in order to post anymore, you can just post once, and be done with it. ” [Ping.fm]
Currently, the Ping.fm supports the following services:
- Bebo
- Blogger
- Brightkite
- Facebook
- FriendFeed
- hi5
- Identi.ca
- Jaiku
- LinkedIn
- LiveJournal
- Mashable
- MySpace
- Plaxo Pulse
- Plurk
- Pownce
- Tumblr
- Twitter
- Xanga
You can send to Ping.fm using email, IM, or web. It also has a trigger system, where you can specify where your post will go:
- @s <message> – Posts a status update
- @b <title>^<body> – Posts a blog entry
- @m <message> – Posts a micro-blog entry
I love Ping.fm, and it does make it much, much easier to send updates to the social services!
